  • Those who prefer to explore the ocean while dry should check out boats equipped with a glass bottom to obtain an insight into the amazing world underwater. Through the embedded glass bottom of the boat, you can observe what is happening in the water below your feet. An experienced captain will guide and control the glass boat since they are familiar with the area and know where you can find interesting marine life. The duration of the glass bottom boat excursion with snorkeling from Diani Beach is about 3 hours during which you can explore the magical underworld from the comfort of the glass bottom boat. Pick-up times from your hotel depend on the tide whether it is high or low tide. The glass boat tours are mostly done during low tides to be able to explore the sandbank (the sandbank is popularly known as Robinson Island) which pops up during low tides. Snorkeling can be done for swimmers but if you choose to stay on the boat or laze on the sand bank this is also perfectly fine.

The trip begins from Diani beach at 8.00am, drive towards the ferry which normally takes 45 mins – 1 hrs depending on the traffic, We will start with a drive through Mama Ngina drive heading towards Fort Jesus, the tour inside Fort Jesus takes about an hour and a half, then head towards the old town, Hindu Temple, the Marikiti Market, view the famous 'Elephant tusks on Moi Avenue. If you are on the half day tour, then you will be transferred back to your hotel. For those who are on full day City tour Lunch follows at around 13h00, thereafter you depart for the Haller Park, this is a nature trail where old quarries were rehabilitated to form a habitat for different species like Hippos, tortoise, giraffes, antelopes, fish, reptiles and an array of bird life. Spend the entire afternoon at park and watch the crocodile and giraffe feeding at around 15h30. Return back to hotel thereafter.

  • Transportation used is a Customized 4WD Safari Landcruiser (non-ac) with pop-up roof for easy game viewing & photography.

  • The passenger names in the booking form should be exactly as per passports. MakeMyTrip will not bear any liability for the name change fee if incorrect names and ages have been added at the time of booking.
  • Please note that if your package includes a flight that is a low-cost carrier (Air Asia, Scoot Airlines, Air Arabia, Jetstar, Fly Dubai, Thai AirAsia, Air India Express, Tiger Airways) then baggage will not be included in the package. Baggage can be added as per your requirement at an additional cost depending on the airline and destination. Our Travel Expert will attempt to get in touch with you within 24 hours after the booking has been confirmed for baggage addition.
  • Please ensure that baggage requirements are given to our Travel Expert latest by 5 days before the date of departure.
  • Standard check-in time at the hotel is normally 2:00 pm and check-out is 11:00 am. Early check-in or a late check-out is solely based on the discretion of the hotel.
