Tarangire National Park, only 114 km from Arusha, is famously called the “Park of
Elephants”. Its permanent water source attracts enormous herds of elephants, migratory
wildebeest and zebras, and hosts rare species like eland, kudu, oryx, and gerenuk. The park’s
iconic baobabs and diverse birdlife make it a photographer’s paradise.

Drive from Arusha to Tarangire National Park (~2–3 hours).
 Arrive in time for lunch.
 Afternoon game drive, spotting herds of elephants (up to 3,500), lion, leopard, cheetah,
hyena, and rare species like eland, kudu, oryx, and gerenuk.
 Enjoy the scenery of wide savannahs, acacia woodlands, and towering baobab trees.
Overnight: Tarangire Sopa Lodge, Mbali Mbali Tarangire River Camp, Baobab Tented Camp,
or similar

Morning and afternoon game drives across the park’s scenic landscapes.
 Observe large elephant herds (up to 600 at a time), migrating wildebeest and zebras,
buffalo, hartebeest, and other plains game.
 Spot unique wildlife like tree-climbing pythons and over 550 recorded bird species.
 Optional photography or relaxation at the lodge between drives.
Overnight: Tarangire Sopa Lodge, Mbali Mbali Tarangire River Camp, Baobab Tented Camp,
or similar

After breakfast, enjoy a morning game drive (time permitting).
 Depart Tarangire and drive back to Arusha, arriving in the afternoon.

MMT reserves the right to call off the departure or provide alternate dates if the minimum occupancy clause of 12 Pax does not fulfil ( in case of group tour ).
Domestic Airlines and the timings mentioned in the PDF in only tentative in nature and will fluctuate. Please keep a buffer if you are further traveling from another destination.
In case of visa rejection cancellation will be charged as per policy.
In cases where a third person is also sharing the room, they will be provided with an additional mattress or a roll-away bed.
MakeMyTrip only provides visa service, the decision for the grant or rejection of visa is at the sole discretion of the concerned embassy/high commission.

Please note that these packages are customizable, which means that you will be able to make changes to the itinerary/activity if you so desire. The final payment will be calculated as per the activities reflected on the website which will be outlined in the confirmatory e-mail sent to you.
Personal expenses such as laundry, telephone calls, room service, alcoholic beverages, mini bar, etc., are not included.
In case your package needs to be canceled due to any natural calamity, weather conditions, etc. MakeMyTrip shall strive to give you the maximum possible refund subject to the agreement made with our trade partners/vendors.
If payment is not made as per the schedule provided in the first booking confirmation e-mail, MakeMyTrip reserves the right to cancel the booking after attempting to get in touch with you. Refunds would be as per the package cancellation policy.
The passenger names in the booking form should be exactly as per passports. MakeMyTrip will not bear any liability for the name change fee if incorrect names and ages have been added at the time of booking.
Please note that if your package includes a flight that is a low-cost carrier (Air Asia, Scoot Airlines, Air Arabia, Jetstar, Fly Dubai, Thai AirAsia, Air India Express, Tiger Airways) then baggage will not be included in the package. Baggage can be added as per your requirement at an additional cost depending on the airline and destination. Our Travel Expert will attempt to get in touch with you within 24 hours after the booking has been confirmed for baggage addition.
Please ensure that baggage requirements are given to our Travel Expert latest by 5 days before the date of departure.
Standard check-in time at the hotel is normally 2:00 pm and check-out is 11:00 am. Early check-in or a late check-out is solely based on the discretion of the hotel.
In case the selected hotel is unavailable for booking, an alternate arrangement will be offered to the customer in another hotel of a similar category. ertain hotels abroad may ask for a security deposit during check-in, which is refundable at check-out subject to the hotels policy
Please note that Day at Leisure essentially implies that no sightseeing activities have been included for that day

The package price does not include special dinner or mandatory charges at the time levied by the hotels, especially during New Year and Christmas or any special occasions. For any paid activity which is non-operational due to any unforeseen reason, we will process a refund & the same should reach the guest within 30 days of processing the refund. Also, for any activity which is complimentary and not charged to MMT & guest, no refund will be processed.
As per Section 206C(1G)(b) of Income Tax Act 1961 effective 01-Jul-23, the TCS will be charged @20% on overseas tour packages. Pls note that TCS @ 20% is not a cost and is available as credit to be adjusted against tax liability at the time of filing return
